    Yes; I think this is timely advice to realign with the nature. It applies even to youth as much with senior citizen; perhaps, way of adoption could be different.

    A man is born, in all his innocence. He, in tune with nature observes and enjoys nature, every moment of life. However, he grows increasingly disconnected with nature;as he grows in the name of progress and development. Result is progress and development without inner peace. Realigning with nature helps in holistic progress and development.

    About the Innovative meditation in Yoga, I have referred the text books on ‘Meditations’ and ‘Sure Ways to Self-Realization’ by Swami Satyananda Saraswati of Bihar School of Yoga.

    There are two types of meditation:passive and active.Active meditation is that which occurs when one performs one`s daily duties,when one walks,talks,eats and so on.This in fact is the aim of yoga ,to allow one to meditate while being involved in worldly activities.It does not mean that the activities will not be done,or not done with enthusiasm.In fact the work or external activities will be performed with more efficiency and energy.Active meditation can be developed by performing the passive traditional meditational practices.Successful passive meditation will automatically lead to active meditation.

  3. It appears to be taking out strains out of routine activities; enjoying various activities and events, imagining the pleasant aspect of everything and taking things positively.

    Real realization can come from actual practice of the procedure.
    Apparently a marvelous idea.

  4. Psychologically speaking what I presume is that the concept of innovative meditation for senior citizens should be that it is a more simplified and more routine version of meditation.

    Meditation is partly an ability to alter our emotions and autonomic reflexes from a faulty level to a pleasant and positive side.Real benefits flow if the learned changes are part of day to day life activities.This is more likely to be followed and be beneficial to the individual.

    Senior citizens, most of the times are not very conducive to new and difficult learning and this mode being simpler and part of their normal daily requirements; is likely to be more compliant.Hence by observing and focussing on pleasures of nature, changes in life from childhood to adulthood and the surrounding people; is likely to add pleasures in life.

    Senior citizens are more likely to focus on negative projections of future, which is likely to be so because of age related changes. Simply making them more adjustable to change their focus from expected negative changes to the positive changes that occured in past and present ones in nature and people; is likely help that flows from this innovative meditation.

    I have not gone through the actual book but this is a simple speculation from what you wrote.

    Respected Sir,

    Meditation means mending the mind by ways and means to fly as a bird in the black cloudy sky or near just after sun set. Here mind plays with body & intellect to heed the heart and comes under the control of soul; the silent observer of all activities and soul awaits commands of supreme soul to get a degree certificate as performance of an examinee (Human being) to merge of its origin called self-realization. Hence meditation is away to salvation. It is innovative by senior citizen but imitative by child and both are enjoying life. This adaptation is very lovable and near to God, but in the midst one falls in prey and astray in life and loses potency; is brooded in misery. From here we all should learn every procedure of meditation by self for emancipation, but this innovative meditation is only possible by an astute senior citizen like you. Really your short cut procedure for meditation is self-innovative; many many thanks.
