Spirituality: The Art of Living

Spirituality is the art of living to find inner happiness and  joy .This inner happiness will come when we can discover our inner self. It is spirituality that helps us to find this inner reality, which is our inner self. The essence of spirituality is discovering the joy in life. The happiness with the theme of spirituality is an inner happiness that does not depend on success in the material world. Spirituality tells us that real inner joy comes not through the fulfilment of our desires but in reducing our desires.

Spirituality involves living in the present. When we worry about the future, we apprehend problems. When we regret the past, we waste our precious time. It is only by focusing on the present moment that we can practise the essence of spirituality. Peace and  harmony  only exist in awareness of the present moment. Living in the present moment creates the experience of eternity.

Spirituality says that inner happiness comes from living not for ourselves but living for others. When we only seek to please ourselves, then we can only get a limited happiness, our pleasure will be limited. However through selfless action, through serving others we can go from a limited human perspective to becoming aware of an extended reality.

Surrendering one`s actions to God, the supreme consciousness, existence  or whatever name one has for that;  one can seek divinity through spirituality.

    Spirituality is one of the ways to be happy.

    In our developing and working years, we hardly get time to think beyond daily assignments.

    When routine requirements of life are over; only then, we have time to ponder about past and future. Though, some anxious individuals make it a habit to worry in early life.

    Properly practiced spirituality is one of the certain ways to enjoy life and get rid of worries.

    Some individuals are not able to develop a clear thinking habit and start generating worries in daily working. This is partly because of mismatch between material desires and actual results, unnecessary rumination about past and future, mismatch between desired labour and actual input and hence corresponding failures etc.

    Causes of worry may be as infinite as thoughts in brain.

    Spirituality offers a comprehensive solution in old age and definitely a good treatment for mild anxiety and depression.

    We move gradually from the perspective of Dehabuddhi to Atmabuddhi in true self realization, settling into true nature of self.

  3. The traditional education system never taught us how to achieve success and wholeness in every area of our lives. Seeing our inner self – is believing our self; I must mention a famous quote on this: “Believing yourself is the first step to success” and it can only be done through spirituality. But in current scenario, the education system, our society, everyone…. has created an illusion to run before money and the youth is also following. When he realizes that he has nothing done for others – he has run out of time.

    Most of us might have listened a famous song from the movie Khatta Meetha:

    “Thoda Hai Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai”
    by: Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar

    I think we have diverted to
    >>>> “Thoda Hai Zyada Ki Zaroorat Hai”

    We need to change our mindsets to “The fewer our wants the more we resemble the Gods”

    And it can be done with the inspirations of the views of a veteran-like you..

    I think the most important benefit of yoga is physical and mental therapy.The ageing process, which is largely an artificial condition, caused mainly by autointoxication or self-poisoning, can be slowed down by practicing yoga.Regular practice creates mental clarity and calmness; increases body awareness, relieves chronic diseases, relaxes the mind, centers attention and sharpens concentration.

    Spirituality as the art of living can be augmented by practice of yoga.

    Thus your recent article published in Yoga and Spirituality is highly appreciable.

    Spirituality:The Art of Living is a way how to live as per God`s doctrine. Every creation in nature`s womb lines in as per coding of God to maintain the shape and integrity of mother, the nature except deviation seen in human being. He has habit to live indifferently that is either to explore the nature called scientific life or when self-defeated at last starts surrendering to God (father) in order to live with affection on the lap of mother (nature) in his own life cycle.In the process and learning to surrender, he imbibes knowledge of asana, pranayama, love and happiness from different creatures and makes dawn to start the art of living called Spirituality. To know self (Atma) that is sent by God (Paramatma) to Divine field to accomplish own task with the divine attributes such as body, mind and intellect and being able to get salvation means one has completed his human birth successfully.   7. Human frame is a tiny , fragile pot. It can hold only a limited amount of liquid inside it. It will crack and break if the liquid from a huge container is continuously poured into it. It is good, therefore, to opt for God’s grace in limited amount. That is the divine scheme as well. A few drops of ambrosia a day is just enough.

  8. Every micro-mili-second millions of events are taking place around us. The flight of a mosquito, the fall of a leaf, the frothing of milk, the frosting of water -all these are events too. Millions of events are taking place inside every human mind too. These events take place in the memory field.

    Memory, by its very definition, is of the PAST, whereas, consciousness, by its very definition, is of NOW. Live consciousness plays an important role in arousing and illuminating every memory event. Hence, even if one is thinking of the past, one is doing so NOW. Can anyone, therefore, live in any time other than in the living PRESENT?
