When Bhakti enters Food,
Food becomes Prasad.

When Bhakti enters Hunger,
Hunger becomes Fast.

When Bhakti enters Water,
Water becomes Charanamrita.

When Bhakti enters Travel,
Travel becomes Pilgrimage.

When Bhakti enters Music,
Music becomes Kirtan.

When Bhakti enters Action,
Action becomes Seva.

When Bhakti enters Man,
Man becomes Bhakta.

  1. Thanks for referral. True Bhakti is a unique set of mind in which person has absolute faith in existence of some supreme power in this universe and His abilities, visualised by people of different faith according to their beliefs. Person submits to His power, depends on His will about person’s fate. A retired spiritual mind with adequate security and practically no responsibility is ideal home for such set up. Ideally person should do his best for whatever he thinks is the best decision for him and leave the results to God, detach himself from consequences of his actions and should not worry about negative outcomes. If he is able to rise up to that, he is able to feel infinite peace and tranquility called Moksha. As person ages, has enjoyed life fully, when material and physical charm from his senses starts fading and he is nearing the end of life, Bhakti aptly starts making increasing inroads into his mind. All source of anxiety are unfulfilled desires, love of close relations, real or virtual material deficit, greed, anger and arrogance. Wise and experienced mind should be able to increasingly overcome his weaknesses and be able to derive peace in Bhakti by leaving everything to God and accepting his present as will of God. Resultant nomenclature gives spiritual feeling and happiness. Love to Snigdha.

Bhakti is esoteric kinetic energy that when spontaneous flows from Bkakta’s heart, God becomes exalted and melted to cope and accommodate in devotee’s heart and then devotee becomes alike to God and God hands over the charge for visible divine task to devotee for comprehend of common people. This is only possible by total surrender of consciousness to subconscious for reflection in body. Thus 3H means Head,Heart and Hands becomes one H ….A principle of nature’s law.

    Pranam kaka,

This poetic style article is a nice one about Bhakti. Bhakti is the slender thread of love that binds the heart of a devotee with the lotus feet of the Lord. It is the spontaneous out pouring of Prem towards the beloved. There is not a bit of bargaining or expectation of anything here. This higher feeling is indescribable in words.
